The rarities.

Every Velarium Moon necklace is strung by hand, bead by bead. The gemstones are chosen for their quality, their color, their story. The vintage pendants are sourced for their craftsmanship pieces from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s that would cost more to produce today than most people spend on fine jewelry. We find them. We honor them. We give them a new strand to live on.

Why Gemstones
There is something about wearing something the earth made that feels different from wearing something a factory pressed out of a mold. Tanzanite exists in one place on earth. Watermelon tourmaline grows in multiple colors simultaneously inside a single crystal. Labradorite flashes blue and green and gold depending on how light finds it. These are not accidents. These are millions of years of geological intention.

We believe the person wearing these stones deserves to know what they’re wearing. Not just the name. The story.

Why Vintage

The craftsmanship of the past is genuinely irreplaceable. A French guilloché enamel compact from the 1920s was made by artisans whose techniques are largely lost. We are not nostalgic for the past we are honest about what it produced.

At Jaestial we carry vintage jewelry, vintage compacts, antique illustrated books, hand carved stone boxes and objects that were made when time was taken. When a craftsman’s name meant something. When beautiful things were made to last a lifetime and then be passed on.
Our 1886 Gustave Doré illustrated edition of Paradise Lost does not belong in a storage unit. Our hand carved Incolay stone jewelry box with a fox hunting scene from the 1970s does not belong forgotten on a shelf somewhere. These things deserve to be in a home where someone will look at them every day and feel something.

What We Want For You

We want you to feel glamorous. In a personal, specific, this was made for someone like me way.

We want you to put on a necklace and know that no one else in the world has that exact piece. Because they don’t.

We want you to own a compact that plays music when you open it and understand that someone a hundred years ago thought that was worth doing. Because it was.

Jaestial is new and two friends who genuinely believe that the world is more beautiful when the things in it are made with care.

We’re glad you found us.
