Crimson rainbow- Natural Ruby Hessonite Garnet and Red Garnet Necklace

The last warmth before night.

At the base, 4mm microfaceted red garnet rondelles open deep and grounding, the color of dark wine and old earth. The strand warms through 4mm hessonite garnet, amber and cognac and alive, glowing against the skin like something lit from within. Then at the top, the beads shift smaller and the color shifts hotter. 2mm ruby rounds finish the necklace in vivid pink red, delicate and fierce at the same time.

 

The transition happens so naturally you almost miss it. Then you look again and you can’t stop looking.

 

At 12 inches this piece sits at the décolletage, long enough to layer, beautiful enough to wear alone.
